Pollen levels in Haute-Savoie and Savoie today, by town

What is the pollen level today in Haute-Savoie and Savoie? This table shows Atmo France’s official index for each town (commune), with concentrations for each type of pollen and the date of the last update.

In short. The pollen index shown comes from Atmo France (Atmo Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes): it is calculated for each commune for today and the next two days, using a model calibrated with sensors. It is not a measurement taken in each town. Out of season, “very low” levels are normal; this page gives no health advice.

Understanding the conditions

How to read the index

The overall level runs from 1 (very low) to 6 (extremely high); it sums up the six types of pollen monitored. Concentrations are given in grains per cubic metre of air, for each type of pollen. A town’s level is an estimate: terrain and altitude shift the pollen season from one village to the next.

Which pollens, and when?

The six types of pollen monitored each have their usual season: alder (February to April), birch (March to May), grasses (May to July), mugwort (July to September), olive (May to June), ragweed (August to September). A zero level outside its season does not mean the data has failed.

Observation and forecast

Today’s value is already a model estimate, and those for tomorrow and the day after are forecasts. Savoie Snow adds no health alert level: if you have symptoms, ask a healthcare professional for advice.

Your questions

Before you go

What is the pollen level in Annecy today?

For Annecy, Atmo France gives a “very low” level for 6 October 2026 (level 1 out of 6). It is a modelled index calibrated with sensors, not a measurement in the town.

What is the pollen level in Albertville today?

For Albertville, Atmo France gives a “very low” level for 6 October 2026 (level 1 out of 6). It is a modelled index calibrated with sensors, not a measurement in the town.

Is this pollen index measured in my town?

No. It is an index calculated by a European model, calibrated with pollen sensors, and supplied for each commune by Atmo France. It may differ from a measurement taken in a garden or in another village.

Why are pollen levels so low in autumn and winter?

Because the pollens monitored have their season in spring and summer; mugwort and ragweed are the last to finish. A very low level out of season is normal.

What unit are pollen concentrations given in?

Pollen grains per cubic metre of air (grains/m³), for each type of pollen.

Does this page give medical advice?

No. It shows the official index without interpreting it. If you have symptoms, ask a healthcare professional for advice.
